Co-Op Adult Day Center
Services
Co-Op is an Adult Day Center that was established in Vacaville, CA in 1999. It is licensed by the California Department of Social Services, vendored by North Bay Regional Center, and operated by Crossroads Community Options, LLC.

Our purpose is to offer a vast, ever-evolving range of personalized, community-based services that promote independence, relationship development, and maximum personal growth through exploration of individual goals and interests.

Our 1800 square foot facility is conveniently located in downtown Vacaville, and serves as a jumping off point for our community-integrated program. We are walking distance to shopping, parks, and restaurants, and a short drive to endless opportunities throughout the bay area.
We provide free transportation to and from Co-Op for those who live within our service area in Solano County. During each program day, transportation is also provided to various locations throughout the area, where we offer various activities.

Each of our instructors is dedicated to providing personalized support to 1, 2 or 3 participants, depending on need, offering encouragement and assistance to allow participants to work toward their goals and participate in activities that make them happy.
Do What You Love
We are proud to offer the tools and resources needed to help participants meet their personal goals and follow their chosen paths. Our participant-driven program couples a person-centered planning approach with an ever-evolving community-integrated activity schedule to ensure that each person's daily routine is fully customized and tailored to their interests and needs.

Participants are encouraged to take leadership roles in the development of personal goals, and to workk toward meeting those goals as part of their daily routines. Activities and services that assist individuals in meeting their goals are added to activity schedules during client council meetings.

Our Client Council Meetings are held monthly. During the meetings, activities are chosen by participants based on their goals, from the following categories: 1) Love What You Do (vocational training, volunteer and paid work program), 2) Stay Active (physical education), 3) Enjoy Leisure Time (recreation), and 4) Keep Learning (education). Each activity is assigned a location (either in-house or in other locations throughout the community) and instructor(s) to lead the activity. The completed activity schedule is posted on the wall, and people choose from activities each day to create their own personalized daily schedules. This system ensures that everyone is able to choose not only what they do, but where and with whom they spend their time.
Love What You Do
Our vocational training, volunteer and paid work program is designed to foster personal pride and a sense of purpose and responsibility through opportunities to contribute to and participate in the local community and economy alongside other residents from all walks of life.
Get Busy
Every day, Co-Op participants can choose from various activities that are guaranteed to keep them moving. Our physical education program is led by a dedicated PE Coordinator, who develops and maintains an exercise schedule that includes stretching, exercise videos and classes, walks downtown, dancing, trips to the gym, swimming, and more.
Live A Little
Our recreation, rest and relaxation program is designed to create opportunities to develop and maintain personal relationships while participating in events and activities including arts and crafts, games, parties, and social gatherings such as potluck dance parties with a DJ, and outings to local and bay area establishments and events.
The Sky's The Limit
It's always nice to learn something new! In addition to a book club and daily current events discussions, our education program includes training in academics, vocational skills, individual treatment planning and objectives, and activities of daily living including personal care and household tasks.
